This is the baking version. No unwrapping, no crumbling discs, no trying to crush them yourself. Scoop out what you need, reseal the bag, and the flavor goes straight into whatever you’re making.
What to make with it:
- Frappes and malteadas. Blend a few spoonfuls into milk, ice, and coffee for a mazapán frappe, or into a shake.
- Cakes, cookies and pan dulce. Mix into batter or dough, or dust over the top.
- Ice cream and paletas. Stir into the base before freezing.
- Flan, gelatina, and cheesecake. Works into the mix or as a topping.
- Hot drinks. Stir into café de olla, atole, or hot chocolate.
- Frosting, buttercream, and ganache. Blends in smooth.
- Topping. Dust it straight onto churros, conchas, fruit, or anything that needs a peanut finish.
